Lord God, take this day which I now begin;
In thanks I offer you the first words of my
day –
Praise for all that is good,
Healing for what is hurtful,
And thanks for the gift of yourself in all creation.
May this day be a good day for all I meet,
And may I live this day
In kindness, peace and forgiveness,
United with your kindness, peace and forgiveness
in the Eucharist. Amen.
